SINGAPORE: A total of 17 persons have been arrested for alleged drug-related offences, according to a news release on Thursday (Mar 19).
The joint enforcement operation, led by the Ang Mo Kio Police Division and the Central Narcotics Bureau Enforcement “F” Division, was supported by officers from the Singapore Civil Defence Force. The 16-hour operation commenced from 9.30am on Tuesday.
The officers conducted checks at public entertainment outlets and public housing estates in Hougang, Ang Mo Kio, Yishun and Sembawang. Drugs seized in the operation included Heroin, Ice and Erimin-5.
