Look at those peasants, George…
LONDON: Britain’s Prince William and his wife Kate welcomed a new baby girl on Saturday (May 2).
Kensington Palace announced that the Duchess of Cambridge had given birth to a healthy baby girl at 8.34am, weighing 8 lbs 3oz.
The as-yet unnamed baby is fourth-in-line to the throne, behind brother George, father William and grandfather Prince Charles.
“The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales & The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed,” said Kensington Palace on Twitter. “Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”
The Duchess of Cambridge was taken to the private Lindo wing of St Mary’s Hospital, West London by car, accompanied by Prince William early on Saturday, the palace said.
