In a posting on Johor Southern Tiger facebook page, the crown prince of Johor Tunku Ismail has rebuked PM Najib for his no-show in the `nothing2hide’ forum.
How can you have a dialogue called “Nothing2Hide” featuring a person who has everything to hide? Obviously he won’t show up.
For those who have been entrusted with the responsibility, do not blame the people for losing confidence and trust in you, but think of why they no longer have the confidence and trust in you.
The royal family of Johor are descendants of the Bugis tribe that PM Najib also claimed to belong to.
For the past week or so, PM Najib has repeatedly alluded to his Bugis warrior bloodline in his counter-attacks against those who have accused him of mismanaging a fund worth 42 billion ringgits.
Political analysts whom we spoke to said that Tunku Ismail is apparently unhappy at Najib’s no-show as it was an insult to his Bugis heritage.
They also believed that with the powerful Johor royal family clearly against him, Najib’s future is looking increasingly bleak.
