What’s The Secret? – Singapore Tops The SEA Games Table Tally With 50 Golds

Call us cynics, but after only a few days of competition we are top of the medal table with 50 golds? An island nation of 5.5 million beating the likes of Indonesia with errr a lot of people, and Thailand too?

Singapore’s previous best-ever haul at the Games came in 1993 when it last hosted the biennial sporting event. That year, Singapore won 50 gold medals.

At the last SEA Games in 2013 in Myanmar, Singapore finished 6th in the medals tally with a haul of 34 gold, 29 silver and 45 bronze.

Congrats to all!

But what’s the secret guys and gals? Please tell cos’ we too want to be champions of something.
