Perhaps because you are not attractive enough. We are talking about the contract of course…
There would always be a reason why no company would want to bid for your project.
Either your project specifications are all over the place. Or your requirements are difficult to be met. Or they are afraid that they might not get paid.
But the Workers Party (WP) would want you to believe that it was because no one would want to work for them because the contractors were afraid to antagonise the ruling party. Yeah rightttt….
In an open letter to residents of The Aljunied-Hougang-Punggol East Town Council (AHPETC), WP Chairman Sylvia Lim wrote: “Come July 2015, we will be embarking on direct management of the TC, as no MA (Managing Agent) has submitted a bid to work for AHPETC.”
In the same letter, Sylvia Lim did what lawyers are known to be good at; assigning blame for the financial cock-ups in the TC.
We hate reading lawyers’ letter, but she wrote something about reserving contract, for friends, overpaid, FMSS, S$1.6 million a year.
In that order.
Oh and she also mentioned something about geography.
